There's been a gap for many years now from age 18-35, but now I see it increasing even more. I believe the main reason is because of fundamentalism and religious extremism. People want to love, and be loved, not be associated with so many that hate using God's name as the excuse. And until religious leaders have the courage that Jesus had, and call evil by its name, this will remain out of control. Evil may not look like the devil but it is the greed for power, money, vanity, fame that allows the blindness towards the poor and uneducated. Until churches get back in their own lanes and help those truly in need again and go back to basics, people seeking God will stay away.
