Liberal Women are Neurotic. Back in the day they had things to hold on to, husbands, church groups,... They've thrown that away. Now all they have is goofy far left politics. Anybody opposing their views is seen as an enemy. So from their point of view, more than 1/2 the country is evil and wants to hurt them. Hence the depression.
If I had to confront the reality that some men viewed me as a disposable sex object at best, who would ruin my life without a second thought if I resisted their advances and that these men were likely to be the ones in charge of my career and life advancement, I would also be horribly depressed. If I saw the reality with which some in society regard LGBTQ people, with I’ve 420 anti-LGBTQ bills proposed so far this year, I might despair for my queer friends and colleagues, or myself if that was my identity.
They're too focused on the negative. Most of the rise in LGBTQism is social contagion anyway.
