Theres a big difference between navigating religious differences and coexisting in a secular world. I have friends of every religion and love to talk about theology and differences of faith. But in a secular group of friends no such talk of deep topics or big questions is allowed. Neither a christian nor a hindu nor a muslim feel comfortable speaking our true beliefs when we are in overbearingly leftist space such as a college campus.

I.e. religious tolerance can flourish in a pluralistic religious society, but a secular worldview is totalizing and leaves no room for any public expression of any religion, and thats the direction my state of Oregon has gone in
